Position Summary:                         

The Clinical Program Director is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to identify savings and clinical practice improvement opportunities for Blue.Point customers.   Working collaboratively with customers, analytics,  and the clinical services team, the Clinical Program Director Provides strategic leadership in delivering customer-centric solutions through analytics, research, and education.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop key deliverables that support customers’ Blue.Point supply utilization initiatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise and serve as a clinical resource for all customers
  • Develop and conduct educational webinars for clinical, supply chain, value analysis, and executive customers
  • Manage Blue.Point customer implementation, onboarding, and presentation of Blue.Point supply utilization categories remotely via webinar and on-site as needed
  • Provide product training and support on current platform and future enhancements
  • Create and send monthly Blue.Point newsletter to existing customers
  • Maintain customer database
  • Contribute to the development of new utilization categories in collaboration with Blue.Point’s Clinical and Analytics teams.
  • Provide clinical analysis and categorization support of new product utilization data
  • Participate in regular data reviews to maintain accuracy of the product database in conjunction with the Clinical Research Analyst
  • Collaborate on Blue.Point’s program development in areas of non-salary expense reduction, supply utilization, and clinical best practice improvement in the form of current product enhancements and future product development
  • Provide insight on industry trends, potential threats, and opportunities that could impact the company
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Maintain professionalism and provide exceptional customer service as a representative of Blue.Point
  • Additional responsibilities as identified to support the growth and success of Blue.Point
  • Remote position with occasional travel required

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field, current RN license required.
  • At least five years clinical experience preferred; Experience with multiple service lines or clinical areas preferred.
  • At least five years experience in Healthcare Supply Chain and/or Value Analysis
  • Certification as a Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHPtm) is required or CVAHPtm eligible and certification obtained within first year of employment.
  • Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel required
  • Preference for candidates in FL, MA, ME, NC, NH, NY, PA and TX
